OTHER/FAQ
  • BYO Bedding for all lodging units. If you forget something or are unable to travel with bedding, CN can provide rental bedding.

  • Camp Navarro is an intact and active forest and wildlife habitat which means it is gorgeous and alive with birds and animals and not paved over so please note that roads and trails are dirt and there are natural hazards to be aware of.

  • It is a draught year so extra care regarding fire and water usage is needed from all guests

FAQ:

  • There are central bathrooms and showers found throughout the property.

  • What can my kids/we do on our own at Camp Navarro?

    • We like to say that kids get to be kids which means fort building, hide and seek, bike riding, climbing trees, lawn games, exploring trails, etc…As for adults, the same applies but add in hammock time, reading, corn-hole, scrabble, naps, wine tasting, art, cloud chasing, bird identifying, just chillin’ out….

  • What is the wildlife like at Camp Navarro?

    • We are fortunate to be on the southern edge of a huge swath of preserved forest land which means CN is the home to dozens of birds (ravens, hawks, owls, etc.) and wild turkey, deer, fox, skunk, squirrels, and though tracks and scat are seen, bear and mountain lion, exist but are not often seen. We are known for our birds so stop and listen and look and you will be amazed.

  • Coolers/Refrigerators:

    • Please keep coolers closed and safely stored to keep wildlife away

    • Lodging does not have refrigerators. If you have medicine that needs to be stored, please see the medic.
